Thanks so much for posting this! My mom used to make something like it for Sunday dinners, but it's been a long time since, and I didn't know how to make it. Now I can try! :-)

This looks and sounds so elegant and delicious, and yet so simple. Can it be true? Do I need a fancy steamer for this, or can I improvise. Not sure how I would, I just don't have a fancy steamer! :D Thanks for sharing. I look forward to trying it.

Anyway, I found you through TasteSpotting and am writing to say that if you have any photos that aren’t accepted there, I’d love to publish them. Visit my site (below), it’s a lot of fun! I hope you will consider it.

Best,

I've been looking for a recipe just like this! I finally found some Barramundi Fillets (frozen). Have you cooked it frozen before? I've never cooked fish before and I'm not sure if I would need to defrost it before I steam it, or if I could just steam it while frozen. Any ideas?

@Melissa: Yes, you can use frozen Barramundi fillets for the recipe. Do defrost the fish according to the packaged instructions before steaming the fish.

Recently, I bought a bottle of soy sauce in my wet market and use it for this steamed fish recipe. It tastes really good!
